As well as its physical presence at EMO 2013, cutting tool and tooling systems specialist Sandvik Coromant has announced it will host an innovative Virtual Hub digital exhibition on Tuesday 17th September. The online Virtual Hub will provide those unable to attend the Hannover event with insights into the tools and solutions the company is showing at its EMO 2013 Smart Hub (B20, Hall 5).
From the digital entrance hall online visitors can access the ‘Discovery Hall’, which will cover the latest product highlights; solutions for optimising machine investment and integration; and a focus on industry-specific solutions.
The Virtual Hub’s theater will see a number of webcasts during the show including, at 14:00 CET, live from the Sandvik Coromant Smart Hub in Hannover, the unveiling of an innovative technology that will set new standards for metal cutting performance.
Visitors will also be able to engage in ‘live chat’ sessions with Sandvik Coromant specialists based on the EMO Smart Hub. This includes two scheduled sessions. Mikaël Lövblad, Business Intelligence Expert, Sandvik, will lead the first session from 10.30 – 11:30 CET on ‘How to optimize skills and knowledge?’ From 14:30-15:30 CET Mia Pålsson, Senior Manager Product Management Sandvik Coromant, will discuss and offer more information on the latest innovative products for metal cutting.
Additional online resources available via the Virtual Hub include whitepaper downloads, brochures, videos and other materials that will be of interest to engineers and purchasers.
